Slice of my Xmas Life
For your amusement here is the Xmas present that I have received over and over and over from bosses.
I was laid off with no notice and no parachute. 3 weeks before Xmas. This is the third time that this has happened.
Yes. I know everyone has a "bottom line" for their profits that they want. And yes, I know that I contributed mightily to my firing by wanting to help a young family by somewhat browbeating a big corporation. I know that was the cause...but somehow, I could not do otherwise.
I am a licensed professional insurance agent for all lines of insurance that exist in the state of Ohio. Somehow, I could not accept the company's rigidity (I felt it was) that prevented this young family from getting what they needed. I yelled at my company representative. Oh, ok, I earned it.
But, you see, I am having more and more trouble seeing money as more important than people. And If I don't learn to hide it (says my disabled husband) I will be unemployable.
So Merry Christmas everyone. It is everyone for themselves. Thank you "Jebus"!!!!
