It would seem to be much more likely that my wife- who proudly hails from New Jersey- would be inclined to put anything about Bruce Springsteen up on the site. Nonetheless, here it is:

Even freaking Bruce Springsteen gets it that this Republican regime has taken the country down a dangerous, most un-American road.

We'll be seeing quite a few clips from this movie- The Magic Christian, based on the novel by Terry Southern. It is one of my favorites, and this scene is just too wonderful, though sadly in two parts:

Yup. That's tortured soul Roman Polanski there. For those few of you who are doing the mental gymanstics, the film was released in December of 1969, so this scene was in all likelihood shot before Polanski's wife was murdered.

Um, holy shit. There's a lot of video of this up on You Tube. I chose this one because it had Andrew Meyers' statement and questions which led to the mic getting cut, the goon squad bum rush and subsequent repeated tasering.

There was some questionable decision-making going on here by those in authority. Asking questions- even tough, emotionally-charged questions- is not illegal. It is simply unacceptable to tolerate this treatment by law enforcement. It is simply unacceptable to tolerate those who would authorize this behaviour.

Case in point: restless leg syndrome. The drug that fixes this problem (which wasn't a problem until the drug which fixed it was invented) has some interesting side effects:
